Today, my brother and I watched the best movie of the year--Transformers:Revenge of the fallen. Sam Witwicky again joins with the Autobots against their sworn enemies, the Decepticons. Many new features are added to the movie ranging from giant Decepticons to ancient Transformers, Jetfire. You will also be attracted by the sexy Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes)or handsome Shia Lebouf (Sam Witwicky) and Josh Duhamel (Sergeant Lennox). I think the coolest transformer is the girl (Alice) who looks like terminator which can camouflage in human skin. Besides that, there were many scenes where everyone burst into laughter although this is an action pack movie. The running time of the film is around 2 hours and 45 minutes. Hurry up and rush to your nearest cinema ,or better still, go to the nearest GSC cinema(for better sound effect) to watch this movie now!!!
The most difficult phase of life is not when no one understands you, it is when you don't understand yourself.

It's all about English
Ever since our Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, took over the profile of the Ministry of Education, he has introduced 2 major changes--capping of SPM subjects and a must pass for English. Since then, many people from various society background had given their views and suggestions via Internet, newspaper or sms. Hence, I would like to give my feedback on this issue too.^^
I sat for the SPM examination last year and I did not face any difficulty to learn Maths and Science in English. Moreover, I felt more comfortable to learn everything in English rather than in Bahasa Kebangsaan. The Maths and Science subjects that are taught in English arouse my interest to study without feeling bored unlike other subjects such as history. I had to eat a lot of ice-creams and chocolates when I was studying history in order to keep me awake. I am not saying that Bahasa Kebangsaan is not good but I think that the Ministry of Education should allow students to choose their preferred medium of studies. Some students prefer to learn in English while others think otherwise. Thus, the Ministry of Education should consider reverting the dual school system where there is English school as well as the SK schools.
Next, I would like to highlight the present English standard of our country. It is quite common for us to see some students who scored 1A in their English but they can get a B3 or even a C for their GCE O Level. So, what's the problem? This shows that our English standard is below the bar and some serious measures have to be carried out. One way out of this problem is transparency. Our educational system should be revamped and the SPM markers should stop adjusting the "graph" just to increase the passing rate. We reap what we sow. It is time for the Ministry of Education and the Lembaga Peperiksaan to reveal the actual marks of our students in any general examinations. By doing so, students will know how good or how terrible they fair in the examinations and this will inadvertently solve the dilemma of the PSD scholarship too.
As for those "katak di bawah tempurung" people who harps on the virtues of Bahasa Kebangsaan, they should take a look at our neighbouring country--Singapore. Bahasa Melayu is their national language too but Singaporeans speak fluent English with slang everyday. However, they didn't change their national anthem which is sang in Bahasa Melayu. This shows that the position of our national language will not be ousted easily although we communicate in different language in our daily life. Hence, everyone should accept the fact that English is an important language and we have to master it to bring prosper and development to our nation.

Gossips and gossipers
I am back in Muar since last week but the sense of happiness had faded and replaced by frustration. I am so fed up with all those gossipers in Muar. Since the day I returned from Muar, many people talked about me--asking where I am studying, why didn't receive JPA scholarship, why quit matriks, why change course, blah blah blah..... The news spreads like wild fire and it seems like many people know that I wanted to take ACCA instead of staying in matriks even though my family members and I barely mentioned that to others. How do they know?
Apart from that, some "kepo" relatives and my father's friends called him to tell him that ACCA is very difficult to pass. They wanted to persuade him so that I will not take the ACCA examinations and get a degree in accounting instead. HELLO!! I am the one who is going to take the examinations, not my father! Since when do they have the rights to determine my future? My father, on the other hand, is easily influenced by their comments. He keeps asking me whether I can cope with the examinations, do I want to change my course, are my friends studying ACCA..... How am I going to give a definite answer when the course is not commenced yet?
Huh, I am certain that there's no turning back anymore. Hence, I'll stick to my plan and try to ignore those annoying gossips.

Home sweet home...
Finally, I'm out of KMPP and lying comfortably on my bed. Before I left the place, I managed to cross the rope bridge of KMPP's tasik. The rope was so shaky especially when I was standing at the centre of the rope. Many had fell into the lake but I managed to cross it thrice. Huhu...... I felt quite bad abandoning my friends in KMPP and I didn't know that day was Wei Ming's birthday!! What a terrible person I am. Haiz....

I don't know whether I am making the right choice but since I have decided, I will try my best to do well in CAT and ACCA so that my parents will not waste their money. They certainly struggled a lot to send me to Sunway University College. New environment, new people and new challenges. I hope I can adapt myself with all these changes without changing my personality...
