I followed my brother to Malacca to watch Sherlock Holmes(NICE movie!!) and then walked around Dataran Pahlawan. We coincidently saw A Famosa when we passed through Voir Gallery so I took some pictures.^^

Happy holidays~
After few weeks of tedious studies, I finally gain some freedom from stress and boredom. I had roughly think about what to do doing my 3 weeks holidays but all my plans have to delay for some time because I need to rearrange all my stuff at home. Arghhh!!! My parents had done an early spring cleaning and completely messed up all my things. Even my favourite pillow was "murdered" by my parents.=( Nevertheless, I have began my first plan of my holiday now--updating my rusted blog. Hehe....
I am still watching Fated To Love You, a few more episodes left. However, I didn't download the full set of drama so I have to watch them via youtube.Haiz.... To those who haven't watch this drama, please do so. The story is so touching and I almost cried when watching this drama.

My next target will be watching Queen of No Marriage and do some shopping spree first.^^
p/s:My black eyes are getting worse, anyone can help me on that??

Unexpected viewers+comments
Wow, I didn't online for a while and I was totally surprised that there were other people viewing my blog besides my friend. I thought I set my blog as a private blog already and it will not appeared in the search engine. Hmm... what went wrong huh? Anyway, thanks for all the comments but I am just a student and I wish I will not get into any trouble by having all those comments.^^

Sex and Religion

I would like to refer to The Star's article entitled "Blame it on boring sex". According to the article, Terengganu's divorcing rate is very high especially among the newly-weds and the State Religious and Information Committee deputy chairman Muhammad Ramli Nuh stated that it was due to body odour, humdrum sex and boring pyjamas. In fact, the state government is planning to invite cosmetic firms to introduce exotic and sensuous fragrances that can arouse sexual desire to curb the problem.
What a F***ing great idea of the state government in "solving" the problem!! I'm wondering whether our government is too rich to spend tax payers' money in such a way. Have the state government learn its lesson from the collapse of the Gong Badak stadium in Kuala Terengganu? The main reason why the people in Terengganu having a high divorcing rate is not because of body odour or whatever nonsense stated by the state government, it is the underlying perception of the people who bounded by extreme religious views for more than a decade. I'm not criticising any religion but anything that cross over the borderline will inadvertently lead to a negative impact.
One of my classmate from Terengganu told me that males and females have to queue up separately when they are buying KFC fried chicken in Terengganu. If males and females were separated from each other since they were born, how can they communicate well with each other when they get married later on?
Besides that, our country is also practicing an extreme censorship board on any movies or dramas. Not even a kiss on the lips is allowed to show to Malaysian audience!! I'm well aware of the government's concern on protecting our younger generations from pornography but extreme censorship will cause ignorance in sexuality, especially those poor villagers who can't afford to surf the Internet. The basic way of learning things is through observation and imitation. If young adults are completely isolated from any romance scene from movies or drama, how can they know what to do when they get married? A demonstration from parents? That's also one of the reasons Terengganu's citizens having humdrum sex which leads to high divorcing rate.
Therefore, the state government should try to change the mindset and practices of the people in Terengganu to mitigate the high divorcing rate instead of wasting money buying dozens of perfumes for them. At least, they should reduce the control on the daily social life of men and women so that they can get along well with opposite sex. However, this does not mean that I'm encouraging high exposure of pornographic scene or whatever. Okay, say whatever you want if you intend to twist the meaning of my post. After all, people seldom read my blog anyway...

Redbox+Ceremony+Class pic

My friends and I went to Redbox to sing karaoke and celebrate one of my classmate's birthday right after our mock exam. We sang from 1.30pm-7.30pm!! (Haha, but I only sang a few songs la). I enjoyed eating the bithday cake as it was the Chocolate Indulgence from Secret recipe. Sooo delicious!! Then, yesterday was the entrance scholarship ceremony as you can see from the picture above. Together in the picture are my college friends--Kah Yen,Shalini and Wai Kin. The second picture below is my class photo, we deliberately wear so formal on that day just to take this photo.

Queen of no marriage
It's been a while since my last post on the 12th of September. Thus, I'll just update my blog with some recent events during my 2 weeks holidays starting from today.^^ Last saturday, Yong Teng and I went to Sunway Pyramid to see Ethan(Ruan Jing Tian), the handsome actor from Taiwan. It was quite a rare opportunity to meet any taiwanese actor/actress in Malaysia so we decided to go although both of us were in the midst of exams. To our dismay, we failed to get a decent picture as none of us actually brought a camera along. All we can get were blur pictures as you can see above. Haiz...
**The female actress was so fair and pretty unllike the dark and bald Ethan.**

So near yet so far...
Today, I had successfully completed my first CAT exam paper. And guess what? I get 98 marks for my T2!!! I am not sure whether I should be happy and start celebrating or feel sad because I was 2 MARKS away from getting a world prize. It is just like climbing high up to Mount Everest but failed to put my flag on top of the mountain.=.= Well, I'm still glad that I had done quite well. Hopefully, I can still get a malaysian prize and obtain 30% fee waiver for my ACCA course. Then I am able to help my parents to save a lot of money and they can retire without a heavy burden.

Interesting phrases
I enjoy my lessons in Sunway University College very much although there is/are test(s) every week or fortnightly. My current class reminded me of the joy I had in 5 wawasan when I was in Muar High School. We always burst into laughter during our lessons but the "porno" jokes that often mentioned by my classmate, Jack are quite annoying sometimes. Now, let me share two interesting phrases which have became the cliche in my class:
1.
By Mr. Bill
Mr.Bill loves to say that whenever he is giving us a lot of homework(which he defines as FUNTASK) or when he is punishing his students.
2.
By Miss Geetha
Miss Geetha certainly knows how to insult someone, especially foreigners after our tests.

Finally, I would like to share the cute cute bun I ate in Dragon-i last week. Phew, the price paid for that was not cute at all!!
1.
There is nothing personal, it's just the system

Standardised and routine life
Since I entered Sunway University College, my life is so bored and predictable. Everyday is all about studying and revising for more incoming tests. After a few chapters, there will be a quiz or test. Then, every fortnight there will be a progress test. Marvin and I are taking the same course but he always looks so relax and have time to play DOTA. Haiz....What's wrong with me and my life?
As the Internet line in my apartment is extremely lag and sucks, I can't even know what is happening in Malaysia. I remembered last time I came home to read the newspaper, it talks about the death of Teoh Beng Hock. Surprisingly, I still manage to find many articles regarding his death today. Hmm, there must be a few possibilities here:
1. There is nothing new happening recently
2. I'm still up-dated with the most recent news without reading newspaper at all
3. The inquest for Teoh's death continued until now without any findings or result
4. Time passes slowly but I aged rapidly
When I went back from Puduraya bus station yesterday, there were quite a number of people travelling or walking around with a mask, including me. The H1N1 influenza seems to be more serious in Malaysia, everyone shuns away when a person sneezes. This proves that our government does not take sufficient precautions in mitigating the pandemic. The best thing they have done so far is closing universities to give students a one-week-holiday. I hope this pandemic will end soon although it is not as dangerous as SARS.

My room...
Finally back home to rest and able to use a better connection of Internet. Take a look at my hostel room in SUN-U Apartment.^^ I am quite busy recently to cope with my CAT classes. My schedule is quite pack and there are going to be another extra classes for computer classes and english classes. Huh... Thus, I seemed to lose contact with the outside world. Don't even have the time to read newspaper.=.= I am appalled to know that a DAP member,Teoh Beng Hock, was murdered at the MACC office, hopefully the police or Royal Commission can catch the murderer as soon as possible.

Too bored=.=
This is the 5th day in Sunway University College but I practically don't have any thing to blog. These few days, I was so bored and lonely as I barely have a good friend here. I don't even know who is my roommate yet and I only spoke to one of my housemate once. Terrible communication and socialising skill, I presumed. However, I still managed to hang out with some old buddies like Fabian, Chin Kiong and Yong Teng in Sunway Pyramid to assuage my loneliness. In fact, they felt the same way too. Haiz...
As u can see in the picture above, a cute little buy by a pond. Hmm, that's my nephew (I think so,not so sure...),Ethan. He is 1 year and a few months old. The only word that came out from his mouth was "duck!!". Why say duck instead of other words harr........

Movie of the year
Today, my brother and I watched the best movie of the year--Transformers:Revenge of the fallen. Sam Witwicky again joins with the Autobots against their sworn enemies, the Decepticons. Many new features are added to the movie ranging from giant Decepticons to ancient Transformers, Jetfire. You will also be attracted by the sexy Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes)or handsome Shia Lebouf (Sam Witwicky) and Josh Duhamel (Sergeant Lennox). I think the coolest transformer is the girl (Alice) who looks like terminator which can camouflage in human skin. Besides that, there were many scenes where everyone burst into laughter although this is an action pack movie. The running time of the film is around 2 hours and 45 minutes. Hurry up and rush to your nearest cinema ,or better still, go to the nearest GSC cinema(for better sound effect) to watch this movie now!!!

It's all about English
Ever since our Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, took over the profile of the Ministry of Education, he has introduced 2 major changes--capping of SPM subjects and a must pass for English. Since then, many people from various society background had given their views and suggestions via Internet, newspaper or sms. Hence, I would like to give my feedback on this issue too.^^
I sat for the SPM examination last year and I did not face any difficulty to learn Maths and Science in English. Moreover, I felt more comfortable to learn everything in English rather than in Bahasa Kebangsaan. The Maths and Science subjects that are taught in English arouse my interest to study without feeling bored unlike other subjects such as history. I had to eat a lot of ice-creams and chocolates when I was studying history in order to keep me awake. I am not saying that Bahasa Kebangsaan is not good but I think that the Ministry of Education should allow students to choose their preferred medium of studies. Some students prefer to learn in English while others think otherwise. Thus, the Ministry of Education should consider reverting the dual school system where there is English school as well as the SK schools.
Next, I would like to highlight the present English standard of our country. It is quite common for us to see some students who scored 1A in their English but they can get a B3 or even a C for their GCE O Level. So, what's the problem? This shows that our English standard is below the bar and some serious measures have to be carried out. One way out of this problem is transparency. Our educational system should be revamped and the SPM markers should stop adjusting the "graph" just to increase the passing rate. We reap what we sow. It is time for the Ministry of Education and the Lembaga Peperiksaan to reveal the actual marks of our students in any general examinations. By doing so, students will know how good or how terrible they fair in the examinations and this will inadvertently solve the dilemma of the PSD scholarship too.
As for those "katak di bawah tempurung" people who harps on the virtues of Bahasa Kebangsaan, they should take a look at our neighbouring country--Singapore. Bahasa Melayu is their national language too but Singaporeans speak fluent English with slang everyday. However, they didn't change their national anthem which is sang in Bahasa Melayu. This shows that the position of our national language will not be ousted easily although we communicate in different language in our daily life. Hence, everyone should accept the fact that English is an important language and we have to master it to bring prosper and development to our nation.

Gossips and gossipers
I am back in Muar since last week but the sense of happiness had faded and replaced by frustration. I am so fed up with all those gossipers in Muar. Since the day I returned from Muar, many people talked about me--asking where I am studying, why didn't receive JPA scholarship, why quit matriks, why change course, blah blah blah..... The news spreads like wild fire and it seems like many people know that I wanted to take ACCA instead of staying in matriks even though my family members and I barely mentioned that to others. How do they know?
Apart from that, some "kepo" relatives and my father's friends called him to tell him that ACCA is very difficult to pass. They wanted to persuade him so that I will not take the ACCA examinations and get a degree in accounting instead. HELLO!! I am the one who is going to take the examinations, not my father! Since when do they have the rights to determine my future? My father, on the other hand, is easily influenced by their comments. He keeps asking me whether I can cope with the examinations, do I want to change my course, are my friends studying ACCA..... How am I going to give a definite answer when the course is not commenced yet?
Huh, I am certain that there's no turning back anymore. Hence, I'll stick to my plan and try to ignore those annoying gossips.

Home sweet home...
Finally, I'm out of KMPP and lying comfortably on my bed. Before I left the place, I managed to cross the rope bridge of KMPP's tasik. The rope was so shaky especially when I was standing at the centre of the rope. Many had fell into the lake but I managed to cross it thrice. Huhu...... I felt quite bad abandoning my friends in KMPP and I didn't know that day was Wei Ming's birthday!! What a terrible person I am. Haiz....

I don't know whether I am making the right choice but since I have decided, I will try my best to do well in CAT and ACCA so that my parents will not waste their money. They certainly struggled a lot to send me to Sunway University College. New environment, new people and new challenges. I hope I can adapt myself with all these changes without changing my personality...

Life in matriks
Phew, after one whole week of orientation, I finally have some time to sit down and surf net via wifi from library. Life is tough throughout the orientation week as I had to get up very early to attend Moral Kuliah, wash clothes everyday, skip lunch or even dinner due to hectic timetable. Besides that, I feel quite lonely here as there are only 116 non-bumi among 2000+ students. In my practicum, I am the only Chinese boy around and surrounded by many crazy malay girls.
The food in this college also sucks. Although there are 4 cafe in the college, they are selling practically the same food everyday. Those food are surrounded by houseflies almost 24 hours and they are either yellow, red or orange in colour. I had a very bad stomachache during the orientation week. Most probably caused by the food.Luckily, I managed to get out from here yesterday for a decent meal in Seberang Prai City.
However, I do enjoy some moment with our seniors who known as faci. They are willing to help me throughout the orientation week and they are very friendly too. After knowing that I was having a terrible stomachache, the facis helped me to apply mc and send me to clinic. There are many Johorians in here!! We are the "majority" in KMPP.

Frustrated and angry
Yesterday was certainly a very frustrating day of my life. I got to know that the JPA result will be out on 3pm yesterday and thus I went online to check it out. To my dismay, they had changed their time to 5pm. Oh great! I had to wait another 2 hours. I got more frustrated when there is practically nothing appeared on the JPA's official website where they had written there "8 MEI 5 PETANG". Huh, so that was so-called the professionalism of our government sector!
Well, that was not the end of story. Later on, I checked again on 11pm and they published another new post stating that "capaian ke semakan tidak boleh bagi sementara waktu". What the..... I was so frustrated and went to bed immediately. After an hour, my friend called and told me that the result is FINALLY OUT. Rushing downstairs with my sleepy eyes, I went to the website like an idiot again to check my result. -PERMOHONAN ANDA TIDAK BERJAYA- Everyone knows what is that, right?
Initially, I didn't feel so sad at all as I also not so interested in medicine. However, the worst part was when I found out that one of my classmate who is currently a petronas scholar get the JPA scholarship. F**** la.@#&%^* That was the moment I realised that the JPA policy still never changed at all. They only offer scholarships to "poor students" regardless of their result.(Did I mentioned earlier that he got a B3?) I shouldn't be so honest giving the actual amount of salary earned by my parents. In fact, I should write my mother's occupation as a housewife. I was so naive and innocent just like Gillian Chung.
In addition to that, I remember that my friend told me there was another JPA interview on mid-April. Anyone else knows that, I wonder. The second batch of interviewee were informed through phone call and none of their names where published on the JPA official website as well. The interviewers on that particular day said that the interview was conducted due to some politicians. Since when politicians also actively involved in giving scholarships? I didn't bother about it before that because I thought that our new prime minister will be fair to MALAYSIANs. Now, I begin to think otherwise. Everything in this country never changed at all. There is no transparency and our fate are manipulated by those selfish politicians who only think about themselves.
~I LOVE MALAYSIA,BUT I HATE POLITICIANS~
An advise to all politicians: Don't treat us like idiots,we are to one who vote you!!

The right choice?
Well, I am currently preparing myself to go Kolej Matrikulasi Pulau Pinang(KMPP). Buying some clothes, water heater, bedsheets etc. I wish to bring my pillow which had accompany me for many years there but it is too big to be squeezed into my bag.:( Besides that, I also booked a bus ticket to go Penang on Sunday night.
However, I am still wondering whether this is the right choice as some people say that matriculation is substandard and we will be harder to cope the university life in the future. Apart from that, I found out that I am able to change to accounting course if I want to do so. Hmm, should I change into accounting course?
My brother phoned his friend who graduated from matriculation 2 years ago and found out that the accounting course was conducted in BM! What the..... Hence, his friend had to adapt himself with the courses conducted in English in UM the next year. Now here's the million dollar question--Are the present subjects in matriculation taught in BM too? Anyone who has the latest information please tell me oh~~

Matrix reloaded
I was astonished to find out that I was offered a place in Kolej Matrikulasi P.Pinang as I didn't apply for that place in my application. Well, the course(science) commences on the 11th of May and a non-refundable registration fee of RM 220 need to be paid in order to enter the college.
Apart from that,I also received the offer letter from TARC which I had applied earlier. They are offering me the TARC Merit Scholarship that gives me 100% fee waiver for my accounting course in KL. Both TARC and matriculation start almost at the same time. Which one should I choose??? Now I am so confused and the JPA scholarship for certain foreign countries will be out tomorrow too. Haiz....

In great despair...
Well, I just finished my JPA interview 2 days ago and today I was quite surprised to know that I was shortlisted for the maktab perguruan interview next week.
HOWEVER, I am so sad and disappointed as I was rejected by Yayasan Khazanah and Sime Darby. Let's see how they replied my application.
Yayasan Khazanah: Regret,unsuccessful
What the f***. Just 2 words to reject my application. Then why they asked me to print 4 pages of nonsense when i applied the scholarship!!
Sime Darby: Although your extra-curricular activities and academic result are remarkable, the competition is so keen and we feel regret to inform you that.........
Good, polite and bombastic words but they still break my heart into pieces though.:(

5 days in hospital

I went for the JPA attachment programme for the past 5 days in Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah. Although I felt so exhausted and bored sometimes, it was certainly a memorable experience. Throughout the programme, I met some new friends such as Xie Yao and Fazwan, my primary school friend, Xin Yi, as well as some high school buddies.
DAY 1:
All the lengthy yet boring speeches from matron, nurses and timbalan pengarah... Later on, we were divided into groups and have a quick tour in the hospital. During the free time, Wei Ming, Jin Rong, Zhonglin and I went to visit Ching Ern in ICU. His mother looked happy and relieved as he was recovering and able to write.
DAY 2:
I went to the O&G department to see all the pregnant ladies and some cute little babies. I managed to have a close look at the ultrasound machine for the first time and observed the foetus of a mother. Besides that, I also had the opportunity to enter the delivery room. However, I entered quite late and the baby already popped out from his mother's womb. The baby was quite disgusting as he was covered with blood and the umbilical cord was still hanging on his belly.Yucks!! Wei Ming, Jin Rong and I had our 7-7 on-call that day. We witnessed the whole stitching procedure of a patient involved in an accident. The medical assistant used hydrogen peroxide to wash his blood and stitched the open wound slowly. Do you know that Hydrogen+blood= bubble? Amazing, right?
DAY 3:
Without having a proper nap, I continued the programme with a pair of panda eyes. This is the day I decided not to be a doctor!! We met Dr.Chew in the ENT department and he shared his torturing experiences as a doctor. He also stated many reasons not to be a doctor. I will try to repeat what he said if I have enough time later. For now, just remember one thing--Don't be fooled by the white coat! I quoted this phrase from many doctors. In fact, you just need a stupid but hardworking people to be a doctor. Do you know that the consultant surgeon in IJN failed his medic? By the way, some of you always say my fingers are very abnormal, right? I had consulted the orthopedic and he said that I have highly flexible joints. I AM PERFECTLY NORMAL!

DAY 4:
We went to the forensic department and I just want to say that the smell of rubbish is worse than the corpses. After that, we went to the A&E department. I was so unlucky because there was a crazy drug addict on that day. Many medical assistants tied him up and they even called the police. Phew~ The drug addict cursed and swear until the police was fed up and slapped the drug addict thrice. Oh yeah,Ching Ern had been transferred to HDU. Wei Ming and I visited him again but he cried when he saw us. Haiz........
DAY 5:
That was the last day and we went to several departments such as surgical ward, medical ward, dermatology clinic and pathology in 4 hours time. Then, it was time for the closing ceremony to proceed. We took many photos as if we were graduated from the hospital. Hopefully, we will meet each other in the future.

What's next?
Well, now that the SPM result is out, I still cannot figure out what I really want.
Yesterday, I went to talk to Pn.Adiny for a while before I gone home. The first question she asked was,"Wei Zun, nak pergi mana?". Such a simple question, right? But I couldn't answer her with a proper answer. "Belajar sampai straight A1 tak tahu nak pergi mana? Orang macam Weh Kiat belum dapat result sudah pergi Taylors belajar",she said. I thought for a moment but my mind was still so blank. Maybe I'm not ambitious. That is the only answer I have in mind.
Many people have started to apply for JPA scholarship, ASEAN scholarship and so on soon after they had gone home. Although I also wanted to do so, I stop my application when I reached the part where they ask for the courses I want.
Haiz, I think I'm completely hopeless.=.= However, I carried out my backup plan for "worst case scenario" first--accounting. I went to the Sunway College's roadshow in Classic Hotel and asked about the fees, lodging blah blah blah.... It is the cheapest course, that's why. Anyone wants to follow me to JB campus? Haha....

Result coming out!!
According to the Star, the SPM result will be out on the second week of March. After knowing the news, I have a mixed feeling. I have waited for the result for a long time and I ought to be happy, right? But on the other hand, I feel so tension, afraid that I will not do well, lousy result, what to do next and so on. The agony is so unbearable. I bet I will be vomiting throughout the next two weeks due to excess secretion of adrenaline. And what's next? I wonder......
*p/s: Our botak NS guys will be back on the 11 March. Thus, I reckon the result will be out on 12/13 March.

Moments in high school

I finally received my pendrive from Yong Teng with many photos taken before our SPM examination. However, uploading all the photos takes some time. Thus, I only select certain photos to upload to my friendster profile and facebook respectively. The photos uploaded to friendster and facebook are different too except the photo of Miss Cha Ju Lee.^^
Special thanks to:
Yong Teng for giving those photos
Chin Kiong for taking those photos and
John Lau for editing the photo

Underworld 3:Rise of the Lycans
This movie is a very detailed flashback of how Lucian became the leader of Lycans. Lycans were once the slaves of vampires until the day where Lucian freed all the Lycans and led them to fight against the vampires. I think this should be the first movie of Underworld as it is so interesting. The movie ends with Kate Beckinsale standing on top of a building and said :"Liars!" So cool!

JPJ Test

Yesterday, I got up very early in the morning as I was about to take the driving test. My hypothalamus in my brain seemed to go crazy and sent the wrong stimuli to my body. I vomited my breakfast after they had gone into my stomach a few seconds later. Wow, that kind of feeling certainly sucks!
I was glad to be the first person who reached the maharani driving school so I took a sit on the number 3 chair. However, my agent came and said that he booked the second class for me. What the....... Instead of being number 3, I ended up as number 29 and I waited like a fool until 10.30am.
Then, I started my test with the parking followed by a U-turn and climbing the small hill. Phew, everything went on smoothly. Later on, I drove steadily on the road. The JPJ's officer reprimanded me as the car slightly reversed when I stopped. I thought I will not pass the test anymore.(~.~)
Finally, I took the results and guess what? I had my first achievement in 2009---I passed my driving test!!!! Hahahahahaha......

The little nyonya<小娘惹>
Yesterday was the final episode of The Little Nyonya <小娘惹>. Initially, it seemed to be a boring drama but the storyline was unpredictable and became more interesting after every episode. Well, I never missed a single episode of the drama!! The story finally ended where all the bad guys are shot dead and Chen Xi live happily with Libby. There is an interesting quote at the end of the drama: "人如果不知道自己的过去, 就像树枝不知道自己是树的一部分"*p/s: I will be having my car test on the 16th of January. So scary....
